Likely from the 1930s a neat Deco Era design on this ice bucket or bottle chiller. The three knobs are enough subtle detailing for the era, nothing too decorative needed, keepin it streamlined. The underside is stamped with a interlocked GD logo and Alpaka. The GD is the logo for German maker Gebruder Deyhle Silberwarenfabrik, or in English: Deyhle Brothers Silver Factory that was located in the city of Schwäbisch Gmünd.

The beginnings of the silver and holloware factory by the Deyhle brothers go back to 1840. It was one of the really big manufactories of gold and silver in the area. It operated all the way the 1990s.
