Vintage Noritake Porcelain Sugar Bowl with Lid, Richmond Pattern, Japan, 22k Gold Trim.

Noritake covered sugar bowl in the Richmond pattern, Made in Japan from 1961 to 1967. Dimensions 3-1/4 inches tall to top of lit, 6 inches wide with the handles. Back stamp dates to 1963 (shows script Noritake over the green wreath, N, Japan, 6124, Richmond, US Design Pat. 194935). This sugar bowl and lid features a 0.8 cm rim of 22k gold with geometric diamond shapes to the bowl and lid’s edge and to the circumference of the bowl. A separate thin gold band borders each edge and to the foot of the sugar bowl. Very simple elegant pattern and would make a great gift or addition for the Richmond pattern collector.
